Since 1971, over 2,500 young adults have been on expeditions with Les Voyageurs. There are a number of ways to engage with us if you’re a Voyageur.

Hudson Bay Bread
For a 9×13 Pan
7.125 cups Quick Cooking Oats
1.5 cups White Sugar
16 tbsp Melted Butter
3 tbsp Clear Karo Syrup
3 tbsp Honey
1.5 tsp Almond Extract
1.5 tsp Vanilla Extract
1/3 cups Almond Slices
1/3 cups M&M’s
Cinnamon to Taste
Mix sugar and oats before adding wet ingredients. Mix by hand, will be stiff, be sure to mix very well. Hand pack in lightly greased 9×13 pan. Bake at 325 for 30 minutes or less. pieces should be cut while warm, but not removed until completely cool
Bannock
6.5 cups flour
1.25 cups white sugar
1.25 cups brown sugar
1.5 tbsp baking powder
1.0 tsp salt
1 cup powdered milk
Mix ingredients together. To bake, combine dry ingredients with water until consistency of thick batter. Include any additives or extracts to taste. Bake in greased 9x13 cake pan.
Hot Chocolate
22 cups Powdered Milk
1 ¼ lbs Nestle’s Quick
1/8 cups Cocoa Powder
12 oz Coffee Creamer
1 ¼ cups Powdered Sugar
Mix ingredients together and add to hot water.
Beef Jerky marinade
4 cups Soy Sauce
1 cup Worcestershire sauce
4 tsp Black pepper
2-4 tsp Garlic Powder
2.5 tbsp Onion Powder
2 tsp Nutmeg
2-4 tsp Ginger
Mix ingredients and marinade up to 24 hours in a refrigerator. Follow your dehydrator instructions.
